Project: Connect::Portal

Image Connect::Portal is a free and independent Internet news site, open to differences in views and opinions. It is one of the leading Croatian public news media covering science and technology policy. Its content is created by the members of Connect, which also includes questions to the Portal's guests. The guests so far have been, among others, Dr.Pero Lučin (President of the Board of the National Foundation for Science, Higher Education and Technological Development of the Republic of Croatia), Dr.Dragan Primorac (Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sport), Dr.Miroslav Radman (Director of the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences), etc.

Project: Human Presence in Space

Image Society znanost.org, in collaboration with Physics Department at the University of Split, is organizing a prestigious international forum "Human Presence in Space". Forum panelists are: Edward Tsang Lu (American astronaut), Valery Tokarev (Russian cosmonaut), Gregory Olsen (space traveler), Per Wimmer (prospective space traveler), Slavko Kulić (economist), and the forum moderator is George Whitesides (executive director if National Space Society).

Program: Astrophysics Initiative in Dalmatia
Image Astrophysics Initiative in Dalmatia is a comprehensive program of creating an astrophysics centre of excellence in Dalmatia. The program is a join effort of Society znanost.org and the Physics Department at the University of Split. The program’s business strategy is available at www.aphyid.org.
